A school cook finds a heart-shaped potato

A cook at SCHOOL found herself in dire straits when she discovered a potato in the shape of a love heart.
Primary school kitchen assistant Paula Fennell, 43, found the tuber tender as she made mash for the youngsters to accompany their chicken pies.

But she was so stunned by the passionate potato that she didn’t have the heart to crush it, so displayed it in the canteen instead.
And it will now feature in the newsletter of Woolenwick Infant and Nursery School, Stevenage, Herts.
This isn’t Paula’s first sensual potato. She found another one in the shape of a heart while cooking the same meal for the students last year.
Paula, a married mum-of-three, from Stevenage, told The Sun the discovery gave her strength as the chips fell.

She said, “It’s like a sign.
“I’ve been through some tough times in my life recently and it’s been a comfort to me.
“All the kids at school have seen the potato and they love it.

“It’s weird to think it’s the second one I’ve found.
“I must be really lucky.”
