Law firm Crocker and WBKO organize food truck on Friday to support BRAWA

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – WBKO News and law firm Crocker teamed up on Friday to host Food Truck on Friday in support of the Barren River Animal Welfare Association (BRAWA).

“Food Truck Fridays are a fun activity for the community. Food trucks really exploded during the pandemic. It’s such a fun way to have your lunch, ”said Cyndi Crocker of the law firm Crocker.

After heavy rains and flash floods, BRAWA experienced extensive flooding in early May. Not only did cats and dogs have to be evacuated, the facility was damaged.

Pelicans Snoball, BG Dawgs and She Sells Shrimp attended the event and donated a portion of their profits to the animal shelter.

“It’s a really important job to take care of the animals in the community,” said Crocker. “So yeah, we’re just happy to support them. Barren County is part of the Southcentral Kentucky community.

Crocker Law Firm sponsored the event and is excited to be back in the community and helping good causes.

“The Crocker law firm hosted many community events during the year. And last year, I just can’t tell you how much we missed being a part of things, ”Crocker said. “So this is one of the firsts and everyone is really happy to be here. And I hope we raised a lot of money for the animal shelter.

The next Friday Food Truck event will take place on July 23.

Stay tuned to WBKO News to find out which trucks are participating.
